Posting has nearly come to a close for our Back to Babylon fest. We're still hoping to post at least 2 more fics for this year's fest. (And there may even be some special posts in the coming months for those authors who were delayed).

On that note, I (mander) just want to send out hugs to everyone in fandom that has been going through tough times this summer.

On June 26 I also asked my partner of 12 years to marry me -- but that’s not really true. I asked her to marry me 6 years ago. She asked me again 2 years later. We have known for a long time exactly what we are. As of two weeks ago we are officially married. Real-married. Legally. Federally. And I couldn’t be fucking happier about it.

Welcome to our summer fest at Woody's Place, everyone! As you may know, June is a pretty big month for not just the LGBTQ community because of annual Pride events, but the QAF community as well. We celebrated at the Rise ‘n Shine Convention in LA, and coming up on June 18th is the 6th annual B/J Cuddle Day! Woody's Place will be holding its own celebrations this summer, and we want you to come along for the ride!

Our theme this summer is Back to Babylon, and the mods are gathering together a number of prompts that evoke the spirit of Babylon and a return to generating excitement within our fandom.
