Pride in the Pitts ♦ Closing Remarks

I imagine the clean-up crew in Pittsburgh is having a hell of a time today getting the streamers and confetti picked up from yesterday's closing events for Pride week. And like the clean-up crew, I suppose, we just have a few things left to take care of in order to finish out our own Pride celebrations.
Mostly, this comes in the form of thank-yous. I would like to thank each and every person who made this fest what it was—the participants, the reviewers, and the readers. This past week we had a lot of great contributions made to the fandom in the spirit of Pride. And in our own way, everyone had a little bit of themselves in Pittsburgh. I hope you all had fun and found it worthwhile.
I also want to go out of my way to thank the participants on another level. This fandom sees an overwhelming level of character hate, but you all went out of your way to treat the characters with respect in your fanworks. I appreciate it. Not only did it make my job easier as a mod, but I think that it added another layer of quality to this fest. So, thanks.
If you have yet to do so, please check out the masterlist and fill out the feedback poll. The feedback poll is especially important because it tells me what direction to go from here.
At this point, I don't have any particular plans for future fests, but I'd be more than happy to arrange something if there's a demand for it. That's where the feedback poll comes in. If you would like to see something around here, let me know.
Thanks again, everyone!
